My first experience (noob level) with doing my own nails (so don't judge the quality lol cause I suck at this but learning)and I work from home using a keyboard daily so when I wear nail polish it comes off quickly and chips. I attempted this first without the top and base coats with the gellen neon collection. They kept peeling off in whole pieces. After this came in I filed my nails, used base coat, gel nail polish and cured, applied the top coat. These are actually smooth and shiny and not peeling off! Also after a week they haven't even chipped while typing daily 8 hours a day! I have a ways to learn to make it look better next time lol but there will be a next time thanks to finding these top, base coats.

I love the Gellen products so far. As a newbie, it took me a while to get used to proper application but now that I have the hang out it I am hooked. The base coat goes on extremely smoothly. Before putting the base coat on, file your nail with a case file in one direction. Make sure to get the tip and do not over file. Just rough enough to give the base coat something to adhere to.

The top coat gives a beautiful glossy finish. The base coat is a little sticky, but I read somewhere that it's supposed to so that it bonds to the polish. The directions are specific and helpful. The smell is very strong.

I notice chipping on my fingernails after 3-4 days, but after two weeks my toenails look great still.

This is the first gel polish I bought & am amazed. Very easy to use and great longevity! Keeps a great shine and no chips after 3 weeks (toes). I do have to change my fingers every 2 weeks( due to growth). This is a wonderful product, I’ve done my 2 daughters nails as well with great results. There is a learning curve for removal so I hit up You Tube for tips.

the top/base coats were super easy to use and lasted a long time. I am honestly very bad at doing the nails on my dominant hand and thus got the polish on my skin, which caused it to peel. the polish lasted a very long time on my other hand.

I’ve painted my nails a few different times using this top and base coat. My nails have lasted me at least 2 weeks each time. No chipping or cracking. I love being able to do my nails. I’ve used the GEL LEN top and base coats along with the polish and I am 100% happy.

I wish the bottles were larger because I've done 4 peoples nails now and I'm running out fast. If this was easier and less damaging to remove I would use it more often. Contrary to what the youtube videos say it really peels easily when applied over regular nail polish and lasts only 4 or 5 days before chipping. But when used just as a base and top it really lasts for weeks.

I'm very pleased with this product line. I have oily skin and typically have acrylic on my nails to get some life from my polish. When I've gone to the salon for a gel manicure I've never had the polish last more than 4or5 days before chips appear. I work in the auto industry and am very hard on my hands, washing my hands constantly.

The pictures attached are over 6 days. I have no sign of lifting or chips. I followed the instructions for the gel, used base, 3 coats of color, then top coat. Cured 2 min early.

They don’t chip!! It’s been a week and I’m the type to pick my polish, but this wouldn’t budge! This polish is seriously tough bc it tastes a long time to soak off too. So highly recommend it if you want it to last 2 weeks or longer.

I paired it with Coscelia UV/Gel soak off Gel polish. Best investment.

I love this set of base and top coats. They come in a great little box and are marked with which one is the base and which one is the top. They are easy to apply and don't have a harsh chemical smell. The top coat makes my gel polish so shiny and I only apply one coat of it. My husband always complements the shine on my manicure. I will purchase another set when I get low on this one.

I use this with the gellen 6 package of romantic colors and I really like how this top coat and base coat work. I have had no problems with peeling. Anyone who has problems with peeling has an application problem. You cannot have the top and base coat attach to skin or cuticle otherwise it definitely will be easy to peel off. Also if you think your application is okay and you still have problems check the wattage of your lamp. Are you only curing for 30 seconds? I cure the base coat for 30 secs and each gel polish color coat for 60 secs. Then I cure the top coat for 60 secs. I uploaded a few pictures of the gellen color I use as well as the LED lamp I use.
